Avery Weiss is a passionate learner who focuses his curiosity on planning. He most enjoys analyzing local housing markets and how various policy initiatives can improve or hinder housing affordability. He endeavors to provide both public and private entities with sound economic analysis to help solve the toughest land use challenges.
Avery joined EPS in June of 2024, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s degree in City Planning. Before grad school he earned a B.A. in Psychology from Amherst College. In his spare time Avery enjoys playing guitar, hiking, skiing, gardening, and exploring Colorado communities.
