Vice President, Sean Fisher is an urban economist with over ten years of experience in urban land economics and economic development. He has served as project manager and lead technical analyst on a wide variety of projects supporting community development and placemaking, such as fiscal and economic impact analyses, real estate feasibility studies, benefit-cost analyses, and public facility financing plans. Sean is adept at constructing transparent adaptable technical models and presenting the key aspects clearly and concisely, understandable by a wide audience. Sean maintains an up-to-date knowledge of various state and federal funding opportunities for transportation and other infrastructure-related projects, ensuring his analyses meet the needs of his clients and reflect the current best practices.
Prior to joining EPS, Sean worked for the Center for Strategic Economic Research, supporting the Sacramento region's economic development efforts through research and data. Sean holds both his Master's and Bachelor of Arts degrees from California State University, Sacramento.
Since joining EPS in 2015, Sean has assisted numerous public and private entities in identifying funding mechanisms and approaches to finance public infrastructure and urban services, developing strategies to encourage economic development, and securing funding for critical projects. Sean is an active member of the California Association for Local Economic Developers (CALED), serving as a research partner and committee member for the organization.
